The first meeting was held at Panera Bread in Washington PA from 4:30 to 7:30. The facilitator, Leslie Gates, and the seven CIG members discussed what question should be researched for our group. Here are some of the topics addressed.
A. Classrooms of various grade levels, abilities, disabilities (autsim, advanced behavioral problems, multiple IEP Students.)
B. Classrooms with lack of technology to support the growing arts in technology
C. No or little support for the arts from the communities and administrators.
D. How can resources affect the students learning, creativity, and motivation? (Art history materials, visual examples, projectors and white boards, books and magazines, art museums and guest artists, ect.)
E. How can we make art more meaningful and important/relevant to..
